Portraits in the World

The human element is never more pronounced than when people are in their environment, doing what makes them happy or what makes them complete. This category is to celebrate those portraits showing people in their environments.

Portraits of Influence

We each have been connected by bonds that defy description. In this category, we ask you to feature images that show who has influenced you, and to also tell us why.

Entrants will be required to provide a short description of the way the subject has influenced you, and why it is meaningful to you.

Portraits of Family

Those closest to us are often our most photographed subjects. If your pictures feature your family — biological or chosen — we want to celebrate those bonds in this category.

Open Category

This is for portraits of any type created using any method or process, including generative AI, photo illustration, composites, etc.

All generative AI images MUST be submitted in this category to be considered.

Series Category

Sometimes, one image isn't enough to show the breadth of your subject in the way you envision.

This category allows you to submit a series of 3-6 images. Entrants must include an accompanying narrative description of the works and how they are related.
